Over a decade of coaching burlesque performers, Gigi has observed the two skills that most often pose challenges for performers: ✨ The art of stillness ✨ How to say it with your face This session is a sweet 50/50 split — four classes devoted to mastering magnetic stillness, and four dedicated to unlocking a full range of facial expressions that captivate all the way to the back row. Expect practical exercises, playful challenges, and short choreography combos designed to help you master what you learn. You’ll learn how to: - Use your music in expected and unexpected ways to keep your act dynamic - Unlock new facial expressions (and know exactly when to deploy them) - Get comfortable in stillness — and command the room - Use pauses to build tension, tell your story, and feed drama - Master slow, deliberate movement that radiates emotion and control - Use these skills when something goes wrong (because it will happen) Ready to own that stage? Location: 340 MacLaren, Ottawa, ON Sundays 1:30pm March 15-May 10 (no class April 5) Cost: $180+ tax for 8 week session

Cancellation Policy
As mentioned on our website, our policy is no refunds or transfers of payments for classes once the session has begun. There are no refunds or credits given for missed classes. If you cancel 48 hours before the first class of the session, a refund will be given minus a $50 deposit. Workshops are non-refundable.
