Curious about spinning and flow arts? This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the foundations of poi and object spinning — building coordination, rhythm, and smooth, satisfying flow. The skills you learn here go further than poi. The same movement principles show up in fans, other flow arts, stage props, and everyday objects transformed into something compelling on stage. You’ll leave with a short sequence to keep practicing, and a set of practice poi to take home. No experience needed. Participants are welcome to bring a prop or costume piece they’d like to explore spinning as well.

This workshop is designed for new burlesque performers aiming to enhance their presence and confidence. You'll learn effective tips and tricks to connect with your audience, ensuring every performance is unforgettable. Step into your spotlight with enthusiasm and grace!
