HEELS TECHNIQUE & CHORO

In this class, we will work on the art of dancing in heels, both while standing and on the floor. Improve your posture, balance, fluidity, and confidence, while incorporating elements of burlesque such as sensuality and body awareness. We will focus on technique while also learning a new short choreography each week to tie everything together and get you dancing! Whether you're new to heels and/or floorwork or already have some experience, this class will cover essential techniques like body rolls, undulations, spins, and dives, along with how to transition to and from the floor in a controlled, fluid way. Additionally, we'll explore the use of arms, lines and turns to add depth and texture to your movement. By the end of the class, you’ll be gliding, rolling, and owning the dance floor with style!

HEELS GROUP PERFORMANCE

This performance-based class is designed for students who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Over the course of this session, we’ll blend the art of dancing in heels with the powerful, expressive elements of floorwork—all building toward a final performance to showcase your growth and artistry. You’ll deepen your understanding of heels fundamentals, focusing on posture, balance, fluidity, and stage presence, while integrating sensuality and body awareness. Alongside this, we’ll refine your floorwork technique—covering body rolls, undulations, spins, and dives—while emphasizing smooth, controlled transitions to and from the floor. Throughout the class, you’ll work on choreography that highlights arm lines, turns, floorwork combinations, and dynamic textures. The final weeks will be dedicated to polishing the piece for performance, with attention to detail, expression, and connection with your audience. By the end, you won’t just be dancing—you’ll be performing with confidence, intention, and undeniable presence. Please bring kneepads!
