WORKSHOP - Unholy, Unhinged

Service Description

This workshop provides a basis for developing dance routines that elicit fear and discomfort in audiences. By understanding common movement vocabularies and perverting them; by examining the interplay between the sexual and the grotesque; and by employing the instinctual ways humans use body language to communicate threat or conciliation, we can manifest characters such as The Beast, The Alien, The Killer, The Ghost and more. This workshop is based on applying horror design theory (Bernard Peron, Keiichiro Toyama, etc.) and body language coaching principles to a theatrical dance context. Open to all levels. Location: 80 Princess St, Kingston, ON Sunday Oct 27th 6-7pm Cost: $25 +tax for 1 hour workshop

Cancellation Policy

As mentioned on our website, our policy is no refunds or transfers of payments for classes once the session has begun. There are no refunds or credits given for missed classes. If you cancel 48 hours before the first class of the session, a refund will be given minus a $50 deposit. Workshops are non-refundable.
