Have you ever watched your favourite show, read your favourite book, or watched your favourite movie and wondered: how would this character tease and twirl? You’re not alone! Join us for this nerdlesque workshop, where you’ll learn about the history of this beloved subgenre and how to explore fandoms through a burlesque lens. Led by Canary Quinn, a staple performer at Ottawa Comic-Con, known for their silly, serious, and shocking nerdlesque acts that always leave you on the edge of your seat. Canary Quinn is what would happen if “Welcome to the Black Parade” could twirl tassels and have great legs. Ottawa's punk rock burlesque bombshell is a diamond in a coal mine, dazzling audiences with their hypnotic, chaotic energy and their blinding sparkle. Canary is known for their grit, glamour, and an ass that should have its own Instagram account. If they’re not breaking your heart on stage, they’re probably breaking it in the mosh pit. Location: 340 MacLaren St, Ottawa Sunday June 14th 6:30-7:30pm Cost: $35+tax for 1 hour workshop

Cancellation Policy
As mentioned on our website, our policy is no refunds or transfers of payments for classes once the session has begun. There are no refunds or credits given for missed classes. If you cancel 48 hours before the first class of the session, a refund will be given minus a $50 deposit. Workshops are non-refundable.
